Explanation
A frame makes a picture look nice and protects it. We cut a rectangle out of the middle of a card. We decorate the edge with seeds, small stones or leaves.
Worked examples
Walnut shells in the corners, beans along the sides.
Class activity
Steps: 1) The teacher draws an inner rectangle on card and cuts out the middle. 2) Spread glue on the frame. 3) Lay seeds, stones and leaves in a pattern. 4) When dry, glue a photo on the back. Safety: an adult cuts out the middle of the card.
