Textbook pp. 16–17
GoalMake a soft rabbit using a template and cotton wool.
New words
little rabbit · quyonchatemplate · andazacotton wool · paxta
Explanation
A template is a paper pattern for drawing the same shape every time. We trace the rabbit shape from a template and cut it out. Gluing cotton wool on its body makes it look soft and fluffy.
Worked examples
Body and head are circles; the ears are long ovals.
Class activity
Steps: 1) Put the template on card and trace around it. 2) Cut out the shape. 3) Spread glue on the body and stick on bits of cotton wool. 4) Draw eyes, a nose and whiskers. Safety: when cutting, turn the card, not the scissors.
