Explanation
A week has 7 days: dushanba (Monday), seshanba (Tuesday), chorshanba (Wednesday), payshanba (Thursday), juma (Friday), shanba (Saturday), yakshanba (Sunday). The parts of a day are morning, daytime, evening and night. If today is Monday, tomorrow is Tuesday and yesterday was Sunday.
Worked examples
In the morning I go to school, in the evening I do homework, at night I sleep.
Sunday is a day off.
Class activity
7 children each hold a day-of-the-week card and line up in order. Each says, for example, “I am Wednesday; before me is Tuesday.”
