Explanation
Animals live in different places. In water: fish, hippos, crocodiles (they also come onto land). In trees: monkeys, birds. On land: lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes. Sentence: “A fish lives in water.” Question: “Where does a monkey live?” — “In trees.”

Class activity
“Three homes”: mark three places on the floor — blue cloth (water), a tree picture (trees), yellow cloth (land). The teacher names an animal and children run to the right home.
