Explanation

This week’s value: be clean. Before eating and after playing we wash our hands with soap: “Wash your hands, please.” Clean children stay healthy.

Worked examples
Story: Temur plays with mud in the yard. Then he reaches for bread. His sister stops him: “Wash your hands, please!” Temur washes with soap: “Look! Clean hands!”

Class activity

“Hand-washing count”: children mime washing their hands while counting slowly to 20 (one, two, three …) — that is how long we wash.
