Explanation

This week’s value: respect animals. We don’t hurt small animals or break their homes; we give them water and food. We remind a friend: “It’s small. Be kind to animals.”

Worked examples
Story: In the yard, Otabek is about to step on an ant. His sister Madina says: “Stop! It’s small. Be kind to animals.” Otabek lets the ant go: “Bye-bye, little ant!”
— Look! A kitten! It’s small. — Let’s give it some milk.
Class activity

“Kind or not?”: the teacher describes an action (feeding a bird, pulling a cat’s tail). If it’s kind, children put a hand on their heart and say “Kind!”; if not, they shake their heads: “No!”
