Explanation

This week’s value: make friends. When a new child comes to class, we say hello and invite them to play: “Hello! Let’s play!” School is more fun with friends.

Worked examples
Story (the teacher tells it): Jasur is new in class and sits alone. Nilufar comes over: “Hello! I’m Nilufar. Let’s play!” Jasur smiles: “Yes! Thank you!”
— Let’s play! — Yes, OK!
Class activity

Act out the story: one child is the “new pupil”, another greets them and invites them to play. Swap roles.
