Explanation

This week’s value: help your friends. If a friend has a problem, we ask: “Can I help you?” They say: “Yes, please.” After the help: “Thank you!” Working together is easy and fun.

Worked examples
Story: Sardor drops his books on the floor. Nilufar runs over: “Can I help you?” Sardor: “Yes, please!” Together they pick up the books. “Thank you, Nilufar!”

Class activity

“Helping friend”: one child acts out a problem (a heavy box, spilled pencils). Another comes and says “Can I help you?” and helps.
