Explanation
Read Chapter Three of the second serial story on pages 93–94 of your book. First read the warm-up questions on teamwork. Then read the chapter and try the questions on values. Leadership is the ability to guide a group and help it decide. A good leader listens, shares the work and is fair. Teamwork means working together to reach one goal. In a team each person has a job, and everybody helps. To cooperate means to work together in a friendly way. A responsible person does what he or she should do. When you read a story about a team, ask: Who helped the group? How did people share the work? What did they learn about leading and listening? Use the context to guess the words in bold, and then check them in a dictionary.
