Explanation

Our term project is called ‘An idea for young Egyptians’. You share information about an issue that matters to children in Egypt. Choose one of three topics: a website plan for your school, a drawing of a helper robot, or a plan for storing files safely. Work in six steps. One: choose your group and topic. Two: give each member a role that fits their strengths, for example researcher, writer, artist, speaker and checker. Three: find sources, such as a list from your teacher, the school library, and a free online library for people in Egypt; no live research is needed today. Four: organise your work with a tidy folder plan and key words. Five: write in your own words, name every source in a list of sources, and check facts. Six: make the final product and plan a talk: what to say, what to leave out, and how to persuade with reasons and an example. Everything is planned on paper; do not use real photographs of people or personal details.

The three topics and who each helps. A school website plan helps pupils and parents. A helper-robot drawing helps people who need support with daily tasks. A safe-storage plan helps families keep files tidy and protected.

Roles by strengths. Youssef draws well and becomes the artist. Malak writes neatly and becomes the writer. Habiba has a clear voice and becomes the speaker. Karim is careful and becomes the checker of sources.
A tiny outline for the talk: say hello and name the topic; say why it matters; show the idea; explain how it helps; finish with thanks and an invitation for questions.
Class activity

Project checklist. In a group of four, choose one of the three topics and fill a checklist on one big sheet: topic; who it helps; the role of each member; the sources you will use; your folder tree; how you will credit sources; the final product; and your talk outline with what to say, what to avoid and how to persuade. Practise the talk once. Use no real photographs and no personal details.
