Units 1–3: my healthier-habits report
A report gives information in a clear order. It starts with a heading. Then it gives three or four ideas with reasons. At the end it has a short ending. Healthy habits are small things we do every day. We should drink water, sleep enough, move our body and eat fruit and vegetables. We write: We should drink water because our body needs it. We can use because, so and also. A report uses facts, not only opinions.
Healthy habits for children. We should sleep for ten hours every night, because our body needs rest. We should drink water every day, so we feel good. We can also play sport, such as football or swimming, to keep our body strong. It is a good idea to eat fruit and vegetables. In general, small habits help us feel happy every day.
Our heading is Healthy habits for children.
I write about sport. We can play football to keep our body strong.
I write about sleep. We should go to bed early so we feel good at school.
