In Unit I we read works about friendship: Ashurali Jo‘rayev’s story “Kichik ustoz”, Quddus Muhammadiy’s poem “Do‘st do‘stga oyna”, the legend about Abu Ali ibn Sino, the folk tale “Do‘stlikda gap ko‘p ekan” and a fable by Aesop. The textbook also gives an extract from a poem about friendship by Erkin Vohidov. Each genre has its own sign: a story – prose, a poem – lines, a legend – a tale passed on by mouth, a tale – “Bir bor ekan, bir yo‘q ekan”, a fable – animals and a moral. After reading we must be able to name the genre, the author and the idea.
Примеры
“Friendship notebook”. I wrote down four things about friendship. First, a true friend tells you your faults without hurting you. Second, he rejoices in your joy. Third, one must be careful: not everyone who speaks sweetly is a friend. Fourth, reading and helping each other together makes friendship stronger. I try to follow these rules.
Table: story – Jo‘rayev; poem – Muhammadiy; legend – Ibn Sino; folk tale – no author; fable – information about Aesop.
