The little teacher
Textbook: Part 2, pp. 5–10
ЦельDescribe a character using adjectives; reflect on how even a young child can teach.
Новые слова
teacher, mentor · ustozpatient · sabrlirespect · hurmatto teach · o‘rgatmoq
Объяснение
The textbook has the story “Kichik ustoz” (The little teacher) by Ashurali Jo‘rayev, in which a young boy teaches his peers his skill. We do not retell it; we read our own text. To describe a character we pick adjectives from his or her actions: patient, kind, knowledgeable, modest. We support each adjective with one piece of evidence from the text. To be a teacher you need not age but knowledge, patience and respect.
Примеры
“The little teacher”. Bekzod wanted to teach his grandmother to type a message on the phone. At first she could not find the letters and was upset. Bekzod, without hurrying, showed each key, repeated it several times and said: “It’s fine, everybody struggles the first time.” A week later grandmother typed by herself: “Hello, my grandson!” Seeing his grandmother’s joy, Bekzod understood how necessary it is to teach with patience.
Description: Bekzod is patient – evidence: “without hurrying, repeated several times”; kind – evidence: “It’s fine, he said”.
