A statement ends with a full stop: Havo sovuq. (The weather is cold.) A question ends with a question mark: Havo qanday? (How is the weather?) A sentence said with strong feeling is an exclamatory sentence (his-hayajon gap) and ends with an exclamation mark: Qanday go‘zal kuz! (What a beautiful autumn!) A command usually ends with a full stop or an exclamation mark. A comma goes between listed words: Savatda olma, nok va uzum bor. (There are apples, pears and grapes in the basket.) No comma goes between two words joined by «va» (and).
