Family: review

Russian A1 · Unit 7
GoalMix everything: family words, my and your, names and ages.
New words
друг (drug) · friend (boy, man)подру́га (podrúga) · friend (girl, woman)наш (nash) · our (with брат)на́ша (násha) · our (with сестра́)на́ши (náshi) · our (with plurals)
Explanation

A friend is друг (a boy) or подру́га (a girl); the plural of друг is друзья́. The word for “our” follows the same three-part pattern as “my”: наш брат, на́ша семья́, на́ши роди́тели. In a text, first say who the person is, then the name and the age. Check each “my” and “your” against the word it goes with: man’s word, woman’s word or plural. Do not forget the stress mark on every word.
