Numbers 0 to 10

Russian A1 · Unit 6
GoalCount from zero to ten and say the first numbers.
New words
ноль (nolʹ) · zeroоди́н (odín) · oneдва (dva) · twoтри (tri) · threeчеты́ре (chetýre) · fourпять (pyatʹ) · fiveшесть (shestʹ) · sixсемь (semʹ) · seven
Explanation

Russian numbers are short words, so learn the stress with each one: оди́н, четы́ре. Four of the first words end in the soft sign ь: ноль, пять, шесть, семь. The sign has no sound of its own; it only makes the last consonant soft, so say пять with a soft “t”. Три sounds like “tree” with a rolled r. The last three numbers, во́семь, де́вять and де́сять, are in the table and the cards below.
