Final lesson (independent work)

Textbook: pp. 153–156
GoalReview what has been learned about the khanate period through tables and independent work.
New words
table · jadvaldynasty · sulolareform · islohotconclusion · xulosa
Explanation

In the final lesson a table is completed on the Bukhara, Khiva and Kokand states: when each state was founded, which dynasties ruled, the founder, population, forms of land ownership, main taxes, duties and cultural life. In Bukhara the Shaybanids, Ashtarkhanids and Manghits ruled, in Khiva the Arabshahids and Qungrats, in Kokand the Ming dynasty. When filling in the table, rely only on the textbook and what has been studied above, and compare dates and names carefully. Notice the differences: for example, in Kokand the mingboshi was the chief minister, while in Khiva the chief minister was called the mehtar. At the end write a short conclusion based on what you have learned.

Worked examples
