Explanation

Things at home have shapes: a clock is a circle, a roof is a triangle, a window can be a square, a door is a rectangle. Question: “What shape is it?” Answer: “It’s a circle.”

Class activity

“Shape hunt”: children look for shapes in the classroom, point and say: “The clock is a circle!” Then they make a house from paper shapes.
