This ghazal is on a love theme, has seven couplets and is written in the meter hazaji musammani solim. It is in the form of a musajja ghazal: in every couplet after the matla‘ there is an internal rhyme besides the main rhyme. In the main rhyme Turkic verbs such as “o‘sonmazmi” and “yonmazmi” come in question form, which strengthens the feeling. Its content: the lyric hero asks whether the beloved who shows cruelty will not tire of it, says the heavens burned from his sighs, that he hid his pain and fears the faithless beloved will not believe it if he tells, and that he wept on the night of separation. In the fifth couplet, when the season of roses has come, his tears mixed with blood are compared with muddy water flowing: this is the art of tanosib and tashbeh. In the maqta‘ Fuzuliy calls himself a wine-loving devotee, shamed before people, and ends with a question: what kind of passion is this, will he not tire of it?
