Объяснение
Wealth is needed, but wealth without wisdom is not kept for long. The textbook gives the folk tale “Aql va Davlat” (Wisdom and Wealth) as an audio tale: in it Wisdom and Wealth argue like people and test which of them is stronger. We do not repeat it; we read our own fable. A fable is a short instructive story in which animals or things often act like people. At the end of a fable its meaning (idea) is stated.
Примеры
“The Magpie and the Ant”. All summer the Magpie collected shiny beads and buttons and filled her nest. The Ant carried grain and stored it in her storeroom. The Magpie laughed at her: “My riches shine, and yours is plain grain.” Winter came and snow covered everything. The hungry Magpie showed the Ant her beads: “Take these and give me grain!” The Ant gave her grain but did not take the beads: “Beads cannot be eaten,” she said. The idea of the fable: wealth gathered without wisdom does not help on a hard day.
Idea of the fable: wisdom is more valuable than wealth.
