A tidy child keeps things in place and saves time. The textbook has the tale “G‘aroyib tanlov” (A strange contest) by Feruza Jalilova, where two sisters are shown as quite different from each other. We do not repeat the tale; we read our own text. To describe a character we state his or her deeds, habits and nature. Synonyms of “tanlov”: musobaqa, bellashuv (competition). A plan is short titles for the parts of a text.

“Two desks”. In class Anvar and Murod sat side by side. Anvar’s desk was clean: notebook, pencil and book were in their places. On Murod’s desk sheets, erasers and torn paper lay piled up. When the lesson began, Anvar found the needed notebook at once. Murod lost ten minutes searching for his. At the break Murod asked Anvar for the secret of being tidy. Anvar said: “Every day after lessons I put my things in their places.”
Plan: 1) Two desks; 2) The lesson begins; 3) The secret of tidiness.
