Объяснение
A true hero does not praise himself; he protects the weak. A boaster talks a lot but retreats when real work comes. The textbook has the poem “Bilasizmi, bolalar?” (Do you know, children?) by Tolib Yo‘ldosh. Tolib Yo‘ldosh wrote many poems for children; many of his poems take the form of riddles. We do not retell the poem; we read our own text. Botir – jasur, dovyurak, mard (brave); the opposite is qo‘rqoq (coward).
Примеры
“Who is a true hero?” In our class Umid always boasted: “I am the strongest, I am afraid of nothing.” One day a big dog appeared in the school yard. Umid at once hid behind a pole. Modest Ravshan carefully led the little children inside and called the teacher. Everyone praised Ravshan’s deed. And Umid said: “Bravery is not in praise but in deeds.”
Synonyms: botir – jasur – dovyurak. Opposite: botir – qo‘rqoq.
