Объяснение
The author of a folk tale is unknown: it has been passed orally from generation to generation. Every people has tales: Uzbek, Indian, Russian, Arab. The textbook gives an Indian folk tale called “Ona qarzi” (A mother’s debt). We do not repeat it; we read our own tale. As the proverb says, a mother’s debt cannot be repaid with anything, but her heart can be made happy.
Примеры
“The child and the gold coin”. A child said to his mother: “I want to repay my debt to you,” and held out a gold coin from his purse. The mother smiled: “With this coin you cannot pay for my sleepless nights.” The child fell to thinking. Then he took the bucket from his mother’s hand, carried water, cleaned the house and read her a book. “This is how I repay my debt,” said the child. The mother hugged him tightly.
A folk tale names no author; the lesson (idea) is what matters.
