Explanation

Ask Кото́рый час? or Ско́лько сейча́с вре́мени? The answer begins with Сейча́с. For one o'clock say час, for 2, 3 and 4 say часа́, and for 5 and more say часо́в. This is the same rule as год, го́да, лет. Say the hour and then the minutes: Сейча́с три часа́ пятна́дцать мину́т. Мину́та is feminine, so we say одна́ мину́та, две мину́ты (2 to 4: мину́ты) and пять мину́т (5 and more). To say “at” a time use в: в пять часо́в.
