How much, how many
You know كَام (kām) from age and phone numbers. It asks «how many?». After كَام the noun stays singular: كَام كِتَاب؟ means «how many books?». To ask the price, say بِكَام (bikām): دَه بِكَام؟ for a masculine thing and دِي بِكَام؟ for a feminine thing. Money is the جِنِيه (pound). Unit 16 teaches money. Answer with a number: خَمْسَة جِنِيه. With جِنِيه the number keeps its full form. To ask about a family, say عَنْدَك كَام أَخ؟ to a man and عَنْدِك كَام أُخْت؟ to a woman.
