Explanation

Now put everything together. Ask «what do you do?» with بِتِعْمِل إِيه؟ to a man and بِتِعْمِلِي إِيه؟ to a woman. Answer with a time word and a verb: الصُّبْح بَصْحَى وِبَشْرَب شَاي. Use وِ (and) and بَعْدِين to join actions. Say «not» with مِش before the verb: مِش بَشْرَب قَهْوَة. Talk about other people with هُوَّ، هِيَّ، إِحْنَا and هُمَّا.

Class activity

Interview a friend, a family member or yourself with six questions about a normal day. Write both the questions and the answers. Use بِتِعْمِل for a man and بِتِعْمِلِي for a woman. Then read the interview aloud like a conversation.
