Review: talking about home, toys and streets
In Units 10, 11 and 12 we learned to talk about our home, our toys and the way to a place. Say what you have: I have an armchair near the window. Point and say: This is a big red balloon. That is a small blue kite. Ask a friend: How are you? Give directions: Go straight. Turn left. It’s next to the school.

This is my living room. I have a couch and an armchair here.
It is beautiful! Is there a TV?
Yes, there is. It’s next to the window.
How are you today?
I’m fine, thank you. And you?
Excuse me, where is the toy store?
Go straight. Then turn left.
Is it far?
No. It’s next to the library.
Review game. Put three toys on the table, one near and two far. The grown-up asks: What is this? What is that? Then the child gives directions to the toys: Go straight. Turn left. It’s next to the chair. The grown-up walks the way.
