Look in a garden or park with an adult. Find one animal and say where it lives and what it eats.
For example: an ant lives in a nest under the ground and eats crumbs and small insects.

Draw an animal and its home. Write one sentence about it.
For example: A rabbit lives in a burrow under the field and eats grass.

Watch a bird in a garden or park with an adult for five minutes. How many different places does it go to? Draw its path.
Any honest count, for example: a tree, the grass, a roof and a fence. Birds move about a lot to find food.

Which animal has a bigger habitat: a ladybird or a deer? Tell a grown-up why.
The deer. It walks a long way through forests and fields to find food. A ladybird stays on a few plants.
