Teeth
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Look at your teeth in a mirror with a grown-up. Count how many incisors you can see at the front.
Most children have four incisors at the top and four at the bottom, but young children may have some gaps while teeth grow in.
2
Draw a toothbrush and write one thing you can do each day to keep your teeth healthy.
For example: brush twice a day, use fluoride toothpaste, drink water instead of sugary drinks.
3
Ask a grown-up when they last visited a dentist. Tell them why dentists are helpful.
A dentist checks teeth, finds problems early and gives advice on how to keep them healthy.
4
Choose two foods from home that are good for teeth, and one food that is better to eat only a little of.
Good: cheese, milk, yoghurt, apple, carrot. A little: sweets, cake, sugary drinks.
