Explanation

For food we like: “I like bananas.” For food we don’t like: “I don’t like cheese.” Countable foods take -s: bananas, apples, eggs. Milk, bread, water stay the same: “I like milk.”

Worked examples
I like apples and I like juice!
I like chicken. I don’t like eggs.
Class activity

“Thumbs up, thumbs down”: the teacher shows a food picture. Children give a thumbs up and say “I like …” or a thumbs down and say “I don’t like …”.
