Explanation

We say a phone number digit by digit, like in English. The digit 0 is ноль: 5-2-1-0 is пять, два, оди́н, ноль. For a short number you can also use pairs, for example 15 is пятна́дцать. Use твой for a friend and ваш for a stranger: Твой но́мер? Ваш но́мер? The words мой, твой and ваш mean “my” and “your”. You will learn more about them in Unit 7.
