Explanation

Now you read whole phrases. Read each word as its own block of letters, from right to left. In Arabic the describing word comes after the thing: بَيْت جَدِيد is “house new”, a new house. A kasra and a yaa at the end of a word, as in بَيْتِي, mean “my”. A sentence like بَيْتِي جَدِيد has no word for “is”: “my house new” means “my house is new”. Read in steps: find the blocks, name the letters by their dots, say the vowels, then join the syllables.
