Explanation

A city has many places. You already know مَدْرَسَة and جَامِعَة. To say where you go, use إِلَى: أَذْهَب إِلَى السُّوق, “I go to the market”. To say where you are, use فِي: أَنَا فِي السُّوق, “I am in the market”. To ask about a place, use أَيْن: أَيْن الْمَحَطَّة؟ means “where is the station?”. Remember the sun letters: السُّوق is read as-sūq, but م is a moon letter, so الْمَطْعَم is read al-maṭʿam.
