Explanation

You know عَلَى، تَحْت، أَمَام and بِجَانِب. Here are seven more place words. They stand before a noun: الْقِطَّة خَلْف الْبَاب. They also take the endings you know: خَلْفِي (behind me), أَمَامَك (in front of you), فَوْقَه (above him), بَيْنَنَا (between us). With بَيْن name two things and join them with وَ: بَيْن الْمَدْرَسَة وَالْمَكْتَبَة.

Class activity

Play hide and seek with a small object. Put it in six places in a room and write six sentences about where it is, with خَلْف، فَوْق، بَيْن، دَاخِل … Use an ending in two of them, for example هُوَ خَلْفَه. Ask a friend to find it by reading your sentences.
