Explanation
To say what you want, use أُرِيد أَنْ and a present verb: أُرِيد أَنْ أَذْهَب, “I want to go”. In the same way say أَسْتَطِيع أَنْ “I can” and أَتَمَنَّى أَنْ “I hope to”. Copy the second verb as you see it in the table: the person of the two verbs is the same. Use only “I”, “you”, “he”, “she” and “we” after أَنْ for now. To say what you want to be, use أَكُون, and the job takes the ending -an, as after كَانَ: أُرِيد أَنْ أَكُون طَبِيبًا.
