Explanation
The ordinal numbers say โfirst, second, thirdโฆโ. They come after the noun, take ุงูู and agree with it: ุงูุฏููุฑูุณ ุงูุซููุงููุซ โthe third lessonโ, ุงููู ูุฏูุฑูุณูุฉ ุงูุซููุงููุซูุฉ โthe third schoolโ. Only โfirstโ is irregular: ุงููุฃููููู and ุงููุฃููููู. The others follow the pattern ููุงุนูู and add ููุฉ for the feminine. For the date we ask ู ูุง ุชูุงุฑููุฎ ุงููููููู ุ and answer ุงููููููู ูููู ุงููุนูุงุดูุฑ ู ูู ู ูุงุฑูุณ. In this course we use the dates 1 to 10.

Write today's date in Arabic if it is between the 1st and the 10th, or the nearest date: ุงููููููู ูููู โฆ ู ูู โฆ Then write the dates of three events (a birthday, a holiday, a lesson) and say the masculine and feminine ordinal for the numbers 1 to 10 aloud.
