The child names five animals, for example lion, monkey, elephant, deer, bird.

The child counts one to ten in order.

Say the counting rhyme with your fingers. Show one finger for ‘one’ and so on.
The child says the numbers one to ten with the right fingers.

Draw an animal. Write: I see a ... . Fill the gap with the animal’s name.
A drawing and a sentence such as: I see a rabbit.
