Explanation
People go to a market to buy things. The seller has a stall. We carry a bag or a basket. We say please and thank you. We pay with coins or notes.

Class activity
Market play. Make a stall with a cloth, some real fruits and paper coins. One child is the seller and one is the buyer. Say: ‘I want ... , please.’ ‘Here you are.’ ‘Thank you.’ Then swap.
