What is trust?
Textbook pp. 66–69
GoalUnderstand what trust is and how to earn it.
New words
trust · ishonchpromise · va’dato keep a secret · sir saqlamoqloyalty · sadoqat
Explanation
Trust means believing someone is honest and loyal. We trust people who keep promises, keep secrets and don’t abandon a friend in trouble. Trust takes long to earn and is easy to lose. But if someone hurts you or something is dangerous, that kind of “secret” must always be told to an adult.
Worked examples
The teacher asked Jahongir to feed the class fish. He did it every day without forgetting — now he is trusted with more jobs.
Class activity
“Trust walk”: one child closes their eyes; a partner holds their hand and slowly, carefully guides them between the desks; then they swap.
