Textbook pp. 46–50
GoalKnow the “magic words” and use them correctly in conversation.
New words
greeting · salomlashishthank you · rahmatplease, here you are · marhamatexcuse me, sorry · kechirasiz
Explanation
Assalomu alaykum (hello), rahmat (thank you), marhamat (please / here you are), kechirasiz (sorry / excuse me), xayr (goodbye) are magic words because they reach everyone’s heart. A polite child thinks before speaking. We greet elders first. We don’t talk loudly on the phone in public, and we look at the person we talk to.
Worked examples
Bekzod saw the elderly neighbour in the street: “Hello, granny! May I help carry your bag?”
Class activity
“Magic word” game: the teacher gives a request; children obey only if it includes a polite word like iltimos (please), otherwise they stay still.
