Explanation
We come to school on foot, by car or by bus. We cross only at a pedestrian crossing and on the green light. We don’t look at a phone on the road. In a car we don’t distract the driver with chatter.
Worked examples
Red — stop, yellow — get ready, green — look around, then cross.
Class activity
“Traffic light” game: the teacher shows a coloured circle; on red children freeze, on yellow they clap, on green they march on the spot.
