Explanation
A song is made of verses and a chorus. Each verse has different words. The chorus stays the same and is repeated several times. When we hear a favourite song, our mood gets better.

Verse 1 → chorus → verse 2 → chorus
Class activity
“Stand for the chorus!”: the teacher plays a familiar song. Children sit during the verses and stand up and clap when the chorus starts.
