Asking questions about a text

After reading a text we ask ourselves questions: Who or what is the text about? What happened? How? Why? If we can find the answers, we have understood the text well. The answers are in the text itself, so we can reread it carefully.
Примеры
“Madina’s flower”. Madina planted a flower in the yard. She watered it every day. After a month the flower bloomed. Madina gave it to her mother. Her mother was very happy.
Question: Who is the text about? — About Madina. Question: When did the flower bloom? — After a month.

“Question chain”: the teacher reads a text. Children take turns asking about it; the next child answers and then asks a new question.
