Explanation

This lesson mixes everything in Unit 5. For “many” use a sound plural (ـُون، ـَات) or learn the broken plural. For exactly two use the dual (ـَانِ، ـَيْنِ). An adjective is plural for people and feminine singular for things. A plural noun can take an ending (أَصْدِقَائِي) or follow a preposition. Verbs, الْ and the endings of Unit 4 come back here.

Class activity

Write a short text about a class. Use at least: a sound plural, a broken plural, a dual, an adjective with a plural of people and an adjective with a plural of things. For example: فِي صَفِّنَا طُلَّاب مُجْتَهِدُون. Read it aloud and underline every plural and every adjective.
