The past tense in full

Write the eight past forms of ذَهَبَ, from أَنَا to هُنَّ, with the pronoun.

Make these negative with مَا: كَتَبْنَا الدَّرْس. شَرِبَ الْوَلَد الْعَصِير. جَلَسْتِ هُنَا.

Fill in كَانَ: أَنَا ___ فِي الْمَكْتَبَة. هِيَ ___ فِي الْبَيْت. نَحْنُ ___ مَعًا. هُمْ ___ فِي السُّوق.

Say in Arabic: ‘they (f.) entered’, ‘we entered’, ‘you (pl.) entered’.

Translate: ‘Yesterday we were at school. Salma was at home. I did not understand the lesson.’

Write five sentences about your yesterday in the past tense, with one مَا sentence and one كَانَ sentence.
