New words
thousand · minglikten thousand · o‘n minglikgiven place · berilgan xonanext place on the right · keyingi xona
Explanation

To round to any place we look at the first digit to the right of that place. If it is less than 5, the place stays and the rest become 0; if it is 5 or more, the place goes up by 1. To thousands: 6 482 ≈ 6 000, 15 500 ≈ 16 000. To ten thousands: 38 700 ≈ 40 000.

Worked examples
6 482: the hundreds digit is 4, so 6 482 ≈ 6 000.
38 700: the thousands digit is 8, so 38 700 ≈ 40 000 (to ten thousands).
