Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Compare “citizen”, “foreign citizen” and “stateless person” in a table (at least 3 criteria).
Criteria: tie to the state, voting right, military service, protecting state. Citizen: all rights; foreign citizen: protected by own state, limited political rights in Uzbekistan; stateless person: no protecting state, limited political rights.
2
Why is it important to prevent a child from being born without any citizenship? Write in 3–4 sentences.
A child without citizenship faces problems with school, healthcare, documents and protection; citizenship is the key to exercising rights; so the law tries to reduce such cases.
3
Write two cases of loss of citizenship listed in the law and comment on one.
For example: acquiring citizenship through false data or forged documents; entering military or security service of a foreign state. Comment: a right obtained with forged documents has no valid basis.
4
Why is denying a foreign citizen the right to vote not discrimination? Justify your view.
The right to vote relates to taking part in forming state power and is closely tied to citizenship; it is so in all states; a foreign citizen has voting rights in their own state.
