Explanation
Uzbekistan has three symbols: the coat of arms, the flag and the anthem. The anthem is the country’s musical symbol. It was adopted on 10 December 1992. The poet Abdulla Oripov wrote the words and the composer Mutal Burxonov wrote the music. When it plays we stand up straight with the right hand on the chest.
Worked examples

Class activity
Play a recording of the anthem. Children stand straight with the right hand on the chest. Afterwards the teacher asks “How did we listen?” and the class repeats the rules for standing correctly.
