Khiva is an ancient city in the Khorezm region. It has two parts: the inner part is Ichan Qala and the outer part is Dishan Qala. Ichan Qala is on the World Heritage List. Ancient buildings and structures are called historical monuments. The great scholar al-Khwarizmi came from this land. That is why Khiva is also called an “open-air museum”.
