The Vatan is the land where we were born and grew up and where our ancestors lived. It is unique and dear, like a mother. Every independent state has a flag, an emblem and an anthem; we call them state symbols. After reading the textbook text “Vatan”, children retell it in their own words.

“My homeland”. My homeland is Uzbekistan. I was born here. My family, my friends and my school are here. My grandfathers also lived on this land. The homeland is dear to all of us. I love it and I am proud of it.
